1998-2003: Philippe Gysels starts his career at Alcatel Bell, a well known multinational company, which was the perfect place to discover the high technology telecommunication world.
He was first in charge of the co-simulation/co-validation of a new ASIC, but was rapidly asked to design the new coming ADSL line termination boards. Busy with state of the art electronic, where there is no place for
hazard and fortuity, due to the production volume involved and the required reliability.

at Alcatel Bell in Namur.

2004-2006: willing to explore the industrial domain and broaden his electronics skill, Philippe joined a young and dynamic SME, WOW Company SA, where he was in charge of
a complex portable measurement equipment involving Digital Signal Processing, Real Time OS, Image Processing and optics all together.
He then managed the electrical and electronic parts of a paper finishing product design, the Bourg BCMx (Bourg Bleeder Creaser).

xDSL equipments (largely VDSL2 products) against the corresponding telecommunication standards.
While managing to test in a semi-automated lab environment, his goal was to strictly respect the commitment regarding the announced planning and the expected report quality,
by i.e. improving the test bench automation, reliability and ease of use. He also put in place several documentation procedures to increase the global team efficiency.
